Thanksgiving!!

Oh the fun of visiting all your family and filling up on so much food that you are full for days! Well it being little miss Chloe's 1st thanksgiving we was excited to spend the day with our families!


Everything was great lots of people got to see little miss for the 1st time in person. When it was time to gather for dinner at great grandma & great grandpa Thomson's house Chloe was not having it.
Then when we got to great grandma and grandad Nesbit's and Chloe was asleep, when she woke up and we took her to see everyone she was not having it.We have determined that crowds in small places is just not her thing when there is a few people she is good. So now we get to keep her from feeling over crowded!

It was wonderful to see everyone, Time goes by so fast and so much changes in such a short amount of time.

Rolling Over!

It all started out in the crib. Little miss was playing and decided that she wanted out and we did not get there fast enough for her. So she just started moving when I got in there to get her all she needed was to roll her head and flip her arm over and she would be on her belly!!

It is Crazy because now she rolls over from her belly to her back all the time, We can not keep her on her tummy. Her big thing now is rolling from her belly to back and working on getting back on her belly. Now that she knows she can move this way she is all about it.

Figuring it out!

It is so cute watching Chloe try to figure out how to do things like using her hands. Grabbing things and holding on to them. She loves grabbing on this toy, the toy sings when she pulls on it and it makes her laugh and smile.

Holding on to her bottle was a first for her, she was so cute. Wanted to make sure it would not go anywhere, dad just watched adoring her. I know that look says it all mom I am eating here!

Play Dates!!

Oh the fun of seeing friends. Being a mom tends to take up a lot more time then you think it would. I am so glad to have been able to get out and visit with friends. Little Miss enjoyed her play dates with her little friends.

We first started out at Kate and Grayson's house in Sugar house, Chloe enjoyed tummy time with little Grayson having some one to talked to seemed to make it that much longer and lots of fun. Chloe also enjoyed singing int the cute little swing of Grayson's. It was so cute how little Grayson would sit and try to talk and smile at Chloe and she would so not give him the time of day. When we were getting ready to leave little miss tried to get his attention and he was all done trying to get hers. Oh the fun we had it was great to have that time to chat and catch up with Kate it been to long we really need to schedule something sooner next time.




Then a couple days later we went to Hooper to visit Josie and little Evelett. When we arrived Evelett was a sleep, but not to long she had awaken and Chloe was all ready to play. Poor Evelett had been to the doctor and gotten her 4 mon shots so she was a little sensitive. They did enjoy there time together Chloe tried out Evelett's bumbo chair. Josie and I got to catch up and set a second play date, little Chloe and I had to get going home sooner then we wanted but life happens.


2 days later we went to Alisha and Hadlee's house here next to home. Little miss had a hard time, I think she had a tummy problem so after she cried for a min, Chloe fell asleep and used Hadlee's crib for a little bit. When she woke up she had something to eat and was a lot happier and felt better and seemed to have fun with little Hadlee. It was so cute to see the 2 girls together.

I truly think little miss and I need to get out of the house more and visit with are friends!!

Long Nights!

Little miss has been having some long nights, crying it seems like for no reason, we can not get her to calm down. Chloe is fine one min then the next you pick her up or move her she is screaming. I keep thinking maybe she has a bubble but burping her does not seem to work or even help. I am not sure what to do. I just keep doing my best to make things better!


I have talked to my mom and we think that maybe because I am a little more stessed then I usually am it has caused less milk to come in and little miss is not happy she is not getting as much as she wants. So I have started to give her a bottle so that she will get more to eat and that has seemed to work really well. Oh all the fun times being a new mom, I love every min or it. It has been totally work all the sleepless nights, poopie diapers, headacks and crying.

Halloween 2011

          Halloween is one of my all time favorite holidays, so I have been super excited to get Chloe all ready for the season. This year was so fun, dressing up myself and Chloe. She was so cute totally enjoyed the entire thing. I was a total slacker and waited tell very last minute to go shopping for a costumer for little miss. We went to every store we could think of old navy sold out, babies r' us sold out, shopko no size would fit her, target minimal selection this is what I get for waiting so long. Next year I will be on top of my game for sure.

      I picked out her costume knowing I would match, we would be cats together.But who new that we would match so well, we may be different colors but are spots are the same. Every time we stopped to say Happy Halloween they all enjoyed our fun costumes so they were actually wonderful costumes. Drew enjoyed the fun costumes and was glad we had fun.

Cloth Diapers!

             I know cloth diapers I am totally crazy, but you never know if you will ever need to use one in an emergency. I have them on hand and I wanted to know how to fold them if I ever had to use them. Besides now I can at lest say I tried them. They are exactly how I expected them to be, even tho I hoped they would be a little better. I ended up using 3 of them and the 1st was a wet one and it was okay It was a quick change, the 2nd was poopie and let me tell you disposable are a lot nice at this point. The 3rd was another wet one and then we went back to disposable diapers.

So when I put the diaper on Chloe the first time, she was not sure how she felt about the hole thing it was not what she was used to. But then she it seemed to be more comfortable for her and the next 2 diapers were no trouble to put on. I thought looking at these picks she is so cute with the cloth diapers on I did not want to put the plastic over top. Then I was like there is no way I am letting the pee get on me, so on when the plastic. It was a fun little experiment to at lest try out.

Home Life!!

There are so many precious moments that happen in life and time happens so fast when they are this little. So much happens in the 1st few years and no one wants to miss a thing. I enjoy all the time I get to spend with my beautiful little girl, she makes everything so much better she is defiantly the sunshine in my Life!!

You never know when a special moment is going to happen so you have to be rady for anything. The faces and positions when sleeping make me smile every day. Drew makes me laugh so much trying to make things easy and Chloe not sure how she feels about his ways about doing it.

Many things teach Chloe some wonderful life lessons, such as ganing strangth to roll , crall and walk. I am glad that she is such a happy baby and takes each lesson learning so much each day with joy about her.

All the 1st's!!

When Chloe was born she pooped in her amnionic fluid this causes a higher risk of jaundice, so when I got Chloe home I had to take her back to the Hospital when she was 5 days old so that the doctor could check her levels and make sure everything was okay. The levels were so low YAY she is a healthy happy baby.

2 days after her Dr. appointment Chloe's umbilical cord fell off, but her belly button is still healing and when she had her 2 month check up they said everything was good and healled all the fun memories you get when having a kid. We love Chloe so much !!

I about had a nervis brake down going to sams club, I so did not want anyone near her. I was most paranoid that someone would come up lift the cover and be in her face saying she is so cute! I know random people probably dont do that but that did not stop me from looking over my shoulder every turn I took. All when well we got what we needed then headed back home where I felt more confertable.

Chloe's first bath was so fun, she was not sure what to think of it. She just sat there and staired at us like as if she wanted to ask "what is this, what are you doing?" it was so cute. I thought she might cry and want to get our but that was not the case she seemed to enjoy it.

It is great to Spend all these wonderful times with my family and friends, Chloe is such a happy baby and loves everyone so much.

Home Sweet Home!!

            We got little Chloe all packed up and headed home. Along the way we had to stop by and pick up some sun shades for the car to block the sun from our new loves sensitive eyes!! When we got home she was so pooped out she was so cute just laying there I had to get a picture. She loved sleeping all stretched out it was so cute.

           This picture really shows you how small she is fitting in her bouncer without taking her out of the blanket. Now she is so big she may not be able to use it any more. This was her first day home just hanging out with us, I always want to just watch her sleep all day. But I had to get sleep at this time while she is sleeping because I need to get caught up on sleep so I am at my best for her.

           Drew is so wonderful he assists me so much, making me sleep while he cleans house makes dinner and anything els I need I am so blessed to have such an amazing husband. I Love you Drew and all you do for me!!
