Cloth Diapers!

I know cloth diapers I am totally crazy, but you never know if you will ever need to use one in an emergency. I have them on hand and I wanted to know how to fold them if I ever had to use them. Besides now I can at lest say I tried them. They are exactly how I expected them to be, even tho I hoped they would be a little better. I ended up using 3 of them and the 1st was a wet one and it was okay It was a quick change, the 2nd was poopie and let me tell you disposable are a lot nice at this point. The 3rd was another wet one and then we went back to disposable diapers.

So when I put the diaper on Chloe the first time, she was not sure how she felt about the hole thing it was not what she was used to. But then she it seemed to be more comfortable for her and the next 2 diapers were no trouble to put on. I thought looking at these picks she is so cute with the cloth diapers on I did not want to put the plastic over top. Then I was like there is no way I am letting the pee get on me, so on when the plastic. It was a fun little experiment to at lest try out.

  1. maybe try a kind that is a little more modern? Pins, prefolds, and plastic pants are the grandma way. I would never go back to disposables (although they are nice for when we travel) because cloth is so super easy and cheap. Velcro is what I use, and it's just like a disposable, waterproof liner built in, and all. The only difference is that if there is poop, I spray it off with a sprayer that I have hooked up to my toilet. She does look really cute in it!
